The Best Value Menu Items
Two Taco Bell items stood out the most.
Breakfast Crunchwrap Sausage
This was listed as the best-value breakfast item, costing just $0.63 per 100 calories. If you’re looking for something filling and cheap to start your day, this one’s a top pick.
Nacho Fries
These won the title of best-value fries, priced at only $0.75 per 100 calories. I’ve had them a few times, and they’re crunchy, well-seasoned, and perfect with nacho cheese dip. Definitely worth the price.
How Does It Compare to Other Chains?
Here’s how other big names did:
- Wendy’s came in second overall. Their desserts were the cheapest among all chains.
- Burger King ranked third. Their 10-piece Chicken Nuggets cost just $0.77 per 100 calories.
- Popeyes beat Chick-fil-A in the chicken sandwich value category. Popeyes’ version costs half as much per calorie.
- McDonald’s, on the other hand, came in last in several categories. Their Egg McMuffin was the most expensive breakfast item at $1.74 per 100 calories.
